Are our kids lagging behind?

Australia is a great place for allround development of children. They get allround exposure and tend to grow up as balanced individuals. However, many children are not upto speed with subjects like maths and english which are the foundation for success in academic life? What could be the reason for this?

One of the reasons for this may be the fact that people do not practice the relevant curriculum frequenty. If the parents spend regular time with children and engage them in practice, then the results are bound to be better. Computer based tutors can be extremely helpful in developing the interest of chidren.
